The SG Series is the perfect solution for businesses selling produce and other goods by weight.

All SG series features both a front and rear LCD (Liquid Crystal Display - monochrome, black and white display). The 3 separate windows prominently displays the "Weight on platform in decimal pounds", "Price in dollars automatically calculated from (weight x unit cost)" and the "Unit Cost in dollars per pound"

The SG can be operated on 6 "D" cell batteries or AC adapter making the SG completely portable and operational even if you don't have a electrical receptacle near the area you want to use the scale. Operating on batteries this scale is perfect for roadside stands selling lobsters, shrimp, strawberries or blueberries from the back of your pickup truck.

Every SG Scale can store up to 12 PLU's(Price Look-up Unit) and programming couldn't be easier. The transaction accumulator (provides customer with total for multiple items) is a unique feature typically not found in price computing scales, but is available with the SF/SG Series.

Transaction accumulator feature provides customer with total for multiple items. How is how the accumulator function works:

Totaling Multiple Items with Unit Prices Stored in PLU Memory

Example: A. Weight 1.00 lbs. Unit Price=$5.00 / pound. PLU key #1
Example: B. Weight 5.25 lbs. Unit Price=$10.00 / pound. PLU key #2

Step 1: With the weigh pan empty. Press the "TARE" key if scale does not display "0.00"
Step 2: Place the first item on the weigh pan
Step 3: Select desired PLU key (PLU key #1 in this example)
Step 4: Press "M+" key to add to purchase total
Step 5: Remove item from weigh platform, put second item (item B) on weigh pan
and repeat Steps 2-4 using the appropriate PLU key.
Continue this process until all of the item have been weighed and the price totals are stored in memory
Final Step - Recalling TOTAL: Press the "MODE" key to display the total. For the example above the total that would be display is $57.50 [(1.00 lb x $5.00 per lb) + (5.25 lb x $10.00 per lb)]
Clearing Total in Memory is achieved by pushing the "C" key when in the TOTAL mode
